Predictably, it's another black and gold moment here at Gold Threads - but this heavily embroidered belt/waist detail from the Dolce and Gabbana AW12-13 show is just gorgeous;
Style-wise, I'm also taken with the idea of punctuating a plain dress with a matching statement necklace and belt - a laser cut leather cinch belt, perhaps, paired with a matching collar?

Fantasy Payday - Sophie Bille Brahe
As payday rolls round again I'm letting my eyes wander onto some delicate gold jewellery which would be perfect for layering and so easy to wear;
Sophie Bille Brahe, who has been exhibiting at LFW's Rock Vault this month, does a fantastic line in minimal, elegant jewellery - such as her simple take on the building/skyline ring;

Tough Luxe at LFW
The neckline remains a key jewellery focus as London Fashion Week begins, seeing designers toughen up opulent gems and beading with chunky box chains;

NYFW Street Style Trends - Graphic Neckwear
Camera-catching jewels are a fashion week staple, but this season it's been less stacked-up wrists and more about making a statement with neckwear.
It's the perfect accessory choice for this time of year - looking amazing under any coat or jacket and resting boldly over knitwear. I'd go for a show-stopping piece in metal and leather, such as one of these dramatic designs;

Spring Fair II - Sarah Angold
Revisiting a quiet Spring Fair on Thursday, I was stopped in my tracks by an incongruous jewellery display in the middle of a homewares hall.
Sarah Angold was primarily exhibiting her laser cut acrylic lighting, which is just stunning;
However she had also brought along a selection of her jewellery made from the same laser cut materials.
Each piece is beautifully constructed, combining precise, angular forms with gorgeous colours - glowing golds, soft greys and iridescent pastels.

Jewellery Show Spot - Daniel Gallie Stacking Rings
After horrendously late trains left me dashing into this year's Jewellery Show barely in the nick of time for a meeting, there wasn't much time left for exploring the stands.
In my quick dash around the hall, however, my eye was caught by these men's stacking rings from Daniel Gallie, curvaceously sweeping to a fine knife edge - tactile, sleek and simple.
